How long does it take to book an appointment?

Can I sign the notarial deed remotely?

Yes. Since 2020, remote signing of notarial deeds is possible in Belgium via the remote authentic power of attorney, authenticated via ITSME. You can therefore sign from home, no need to visit the notary's office.

What are notary fees in Belgium?

Notary fees are regulated by royal decree. For an SRL incorporation, expect between €1,000 and €1,400 incl. VAT in notary fees proper. Add the Belgian Gazette publication fees (around €225 to €280) and the BCE registration (€207.31 excl. VAT). Bylaw changes range from €400 to €900 incl. VAT. We provide an accurate detailed quote before any intervention.

Is a notary mandatory to set up a company?

Can I keep my own notary?

Absolutely. If you already have a trusted notary, we prepare the full file and coordinate directly with them. We tailor our service to your constraints, without imposing a partner notary.

Does Express Notary include post-signing formalities?

Yes. After signing, we handle the court clerk filing, Belgian Gazette publication, BCE update and UBO register. You receive your publication extract as soon as available.
