What is an SRL in Belgium?

The Société à Responsabilité Limitée (SRL) has been Belgium's most widely used corporate form since the 2019 reform of the Code of Companies and Associations (CSA). It replaces the former SPRL.

Its main strength: the separation between your personal assets and those of the company. In case of bankruptcy, your private assets are protected (save for serious management misconduct).
